Microsoft IIS AppCmd - Overview

The IIS-AppCmd plugin is an automation based plugin. It is used during the deployment to automate configuration changes to IIS versions 7 8.

Microsofts IIS 7 is packaged with Windows Server 2008. Microsofts IIS 7.5 is packaged with Windows Server 2008r2. Microsofts IIS 8 is packaged with Windows Server 2010.
