RPM - Overview

You can use the RPM Package Manager (RPM) to install, uninstall, and manage software packages in UNIX environments.

With the RPM plug-in, you can automate RPM functions into your IBM UrbanCode Deploy Processes.

This plug-in includes these steps:

• Install RPM
• Uninstall RPM
• Update RPM

Compatibility

This plug-in requires IBM UrbanCode Deploy version 6.0 or later.

This plug-in runs on all operating systems that UrbanCode Deploy supports.

No special steps are required for installation. See Installing plug-ins in UrbanCode Deploy.
