Overview
Checkstyle is a code analysis tool used to verify that Java code adheres to a coding standard. It contains checks for general Java coding style. However, it can be extended to include customized checks. The IBM UrbanCode Build Checkstyle plug-in allows for the results of a Checkstyle analysis to be included in a buildlife.
This plug-in includes one step.
Use the Publish Checkstyle Results step to automate publishing results from a Checkstyle report in your IBM Urban Code Build process. The Checkstyle results are included on the Analytics tab of a buildlife.
The Checkstyle results must be in a XML file format. For additional information on using Checkstyle, see the Checkstyle website.
Step palette
To access this plug-in in the palette, click Quality > Code Analysis > Checkstyle > Publish Checkstyle Results.
Compatibility
This plugin runs on all supported IBM UrbanCode Build platforms.
Installation
No special steps are required for installation. This plug-in is included with the installation of IBM Urban Code Deploy.If you need to install the plug-in again, see Installing plug-ins in UrbanCodeproducts.
